At Child Psychiatry Consultancy, we understand that financial considerations are an important aspect of accessing health services. Our fee structure is designed to be transparent and straightforward.
What Our Fees Cover
The fee for each appointment covers the time spent in consultation, along with any letters or prescriptions agreed during that session.
Please be aware that clinical work completed outside of your appointment — such as responding to correspondence, issuing additional prescriptions, or writing supplementary reports — may incur a separate administration fee. We will always let you know in advance if additional charges apply.
Assessment fees for ADHD and autism cover the full assessment process as described, including the diagnostic report. They do not include medication management or follow-up care — these are covered by the ADHD Treatment Package if you choose to proceed.

For consultations (initial and follow-up)
We can bill your insurer directly for psychiatric consultations. Please ensure you have an active policy and obtain a pre-authorisation code from your insurer before booking. Contact your insurer directly to confirm your coverage and obtain authorisation.
For ADHD and autism assessments
Payment for neurodevelopmental assessments is made directly by families at the time of assessment. We will provide you with a detailed invoice immediately afterwards, which you can submit to your insurer for reimbursement. Please check your policy coverage and obtain pre-authorisation before your appointment, as some insurers require this even for self-pay assessments.
